No matter what you do, I don’t think you can go wrong with either kit. The DEWALT DCD794 with a DEWALT DCB203 battery provides up to 16 More Power vs. If you have or plan to get into the Flexvolt line with other tools, then perhaps go with the Flexvolt Advantage kit. DCD794 is Our Shortest 20V MAX Drill Driver, tool head length only. That being said, if you have only 20v tools, and wanna spend an extra $50 for the Power Detect kit to get the reciprocating saw, go for it. So technically the Power Detect kit comes with a higher battery capacity. The Flexvolt Advantage comes with a 2Ah and a 6Ah Flexvolt (6 20v, 2 60v) battery. Or, consider the Power Detect kit comes with a 2Ah and an 8Ah (20v) battery.
So I would say you can’t go wrong with either kit. Both drills get more power on higher capacity batteries, regardless of if it’s using a 20v or Flexvolt battery. ATOMIC 20V MAX tools are designed to be compact and powerful for a wide range of applications.
